Our centre is equipped with a robotic gait trainer system, a technology to improve balance and motor coordination by using the knee robotic control devices to get a proper movement of hip, knee and ankle. This high tech robotic assisted gait trainer helps to retrain the brain on balancing, forward motion, re-build lost muscle mass and posture correction. A robot takes over the muscle functions. In this way the joint is trained through passive movements. As a result, the patient’s strength, coordination and range of motion improves. It helps patients with paralytic problems. The ISOTONIC machines can train and give sense to the muscles to enable walking.
